Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement social media strategies and an editorial calendar aligned with marketing goals.
  • Develop effective social content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels, with independent writing as needed.
  • Collaborate with design teams to create visual content and with on-site teams for live event coverage.
  • Monitor activity, respond to inquiries, protect brand reputation, and enhance user experience.
  • Track reach and engagement, provide weekly updates, and bi-weekly deeper metric reports.
  • Stay current on digital/social trends to increase reach and engagement.
  • Provide social coverage for live events and community activities as needed.
  • Oversee Graduate Medical Education social accounts, guiding content requests and monitoring activity.
  • Share insights and best practices with the marketing team and assist with media relations and crisis communication as needed.
  • Write bios for onboarding providers and manage internal monthly reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Essential: Marketing, Communications, Business Marketing, or related field
  • Experience Essential: 2-4 years of social media experience or familiarity with Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/LinkedIn and other digital/social sites
  • Copywriting experience with strong grammar and editing skills

Preferred

  • Demonstrates excellent project management under stress, with calm leadership
  • Strategic thinker and self-motivated, able to offer proactive brand-protecting recommendations
  • Proven ability to organize, build processes, allocate and manage resources
