Job Description

Lead creative and digital communications for a Wisconsin conservation nonprofit, coordinating bulk email, CMS content, social channels, and field storytelling to translate policy priorities into engaging narratives and measurable public engagement.

  • Digital production and systems management: Primary technical lead for setting up, testing, and deploying bulk email campaigns via EveryAction.
  • Formatting, tracking, and segmentation: Ensure high deliverability and engagement.
  • Webmaster duties: Content updates across Craft CMS and Squarespace.
  • Campaign landing pages: Build new pages and keep civic resources accurate and accessible.
  • Social publishing: Daily posting and polishing of organizational channels.
  • Channel adaptation: Tailor messaging for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels with consistency.
  • Design and storytelling lead: Lead design for digital and print assets.
  • Graphics and media assets: Create social graphics, email headers, and digital flyers with Canva and occasionally Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Field-based content gathering: Collect field content to support media and partners.
  • Light photography and video: Document events, capture interviews, and produce behind-the-scenes content for social stories.
