Job Summary

Support Rose Bowl Stadium communications by shaping strategy, creating content, coordinating media events, and managing budgets and archives across the Rose Bowl Stadium and Legacy Foundation.

  • Assist on strategy, press releases, story pitches, and advertising opportunities.
  • One to three years in sports entertainment or venue event management.
  • Coordinate content creation and media events across Rose Bowl teams and partners.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist on strategy, press releases, story pitches, and advertising opportunities.
  • Create content (videos, articles, photos, etc.) to post to website and socials.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Communications with Rose Bowl Stadium website.
  • Manage and maintain Rose Bowl digital archives including photos and videos.
  • Provide onsite support during Rose Bowl media filmings, and interviews.
  • Assist with the Rose Bowl Stadium Major Event Ticket Tracking and Distribution.
  • Assist the Rose Bowl’s Community Programming Effort and Involvement.
  • Assist with Rose Bowl Stadium Client and Vendor Gifting.
  • Oversee the Rose Bowl Non-Profit Ticket Donation Program.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Communications with media events and recaps.

Requirements

  • Current College Student
  • One to three years of experience in sports entertainment and/or venue event management
  • Class C driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
  • Knowledge of Public Relations
  • Knowledge of Media
  • Knowledge of Social Media
  • Knowledge of Marketing
  • Knowledge of Community Relations
  • Knowledge of Local and regional markets
  • Knowledge of Venue operations
