Job Summary

Own CPED’s communications loop from newsletters to learning materials, aligning multiple channels and groups to promote initiatives and events.

  • News, Social, & Website: manage content creation, distribution, and site updates to keep members informed and engaged.
  • Programs & Resources: curate webinars, digital resources, and CPPED learning modules; liaise with Executive Director and CPED groups to drive member programming.
  • Collaboration & Travel: coordinate cross-stakeholder communications and support annual convenings with light travel requirements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, & distribute CPED’s monthly newsletter.
  • Develop & manage social media content across multiple platforms to promote CPED initiatives, events, and member engagement.
  • Update & maintain the CPED website, including website content & blog posts.
  • Promote the annual CPED Convening through digital communications, marketing campaigns, & social media outreach.
  • Assist in developing promotional materials & communication strategies for CPED programs & events.
  • Reorganize, maintain, & update the CPED Resource Center to ensure accessibility and relevance for member institutions.
  • Create professional learning modules and instructional materials for the Executive Director to support responses to questions related to the Education Doctorate (EdD).
  • Assist in organizing and curating digital resources for delegates and members.
  • Work collaboratively with CPED Improvement Groups (CIGs) to develop webinars, learning opportunities, and member programming.
  • Serve as a liaison between CPED delegates and the Executive Director to support communication and collaboration across the network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, education, marketing, instructional design, or a related field preferred
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing websites, blogs, newsletters, & social media platforms
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite & Canva
  • Experience creating digital learning materials
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail & ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience collaborating & organizing groups and groups activities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in a professional learning network
