Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create clear, engaging, on-brand content that highlights our people, our work and our impact.
  • Translate business priorities into stories that connect employees and external audiences to our strategy and bring the Simplot Purpose to life.
  • Support the development and maintenance of editorial guidelines, messaging standards, and style guides.
  • Uphold consistency in tone, voice, and style across all materials.
  • Partner closely with the Communications Business Partners and Subject Matter Experts across the business to gather insights, refine messaging, and elevate storytelling.
  • Keep a pulse on industry best practices and bring forward ideas that strengthen our communications.
  • Coordinate with Global Communications and Brand internal teams (Creative Services, Public and Community Relations, and Communications Business Partners) to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Support the Associate Director of Editorial Services in streamlining content processes and improving team efficiency.
  • Track progress across content initiatives and flag risks, dependencies, and resource needs.
  • Maintain organized documentation, workflows, and status reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university with a focus in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in employee and/or corporate communications.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; able to simplify complex topics.
  • Strong project management abilities with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Comfortable partnering across teams and navigating review/approval processes.
  • Proactive, organized, collaborative, and confident managing multiple assignments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Monday.com, Workshop (email tool), or similar tools is a plus.
