Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising and working with a crew
• Capable of installation of all types of electrical work
• Capable of troubleshooting motors, controls, circuits, and equipment
• Efficient in the areas of layout and blueprints
• Possesses the knowledge to rig and set up for all locations
• Possesses basic theory knowledge
• Responsible for positively identifying wire colors
• Responsible for reading, comprehending, and drawing prints and schematics
• Responsible for bending conduit using hand benders
• Responsible for using power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches

Requirements

• High School graduate or holder of a G.E.D.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license required
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• The physical demands: bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead; lift up to 51 pounds; stand for extended periods; climb ladders; walk to job sites; OSHA-approved ladders or approved stairs; normal or corrected vision; work at varying heights using ladders/scaffolds/aerial lifts; repetitive use of arms/hands/fingers
