Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Co-assess existing practices for external communications
  • Co-assess and develop strategies to improve the NGO’s social media presence
  • Co-create outreach strategy for building partnerships
  • Co-create a database of at least 20 international organizations that align with the NGO’s mission for outreach
  • Advise on the selection of at least 3 potential partner organizations and outreach communications

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Experience: 1 year developing digital communications, brand campaigns, or social media content development
  • Intercultural skills and motivation: Flexible, strong cross-cultural agility, high tolerance for ambiguity, able to work independently, resourceful, creative, and genuinely motivated and capable to serve virtually
  • Engagement of 5–15 hours per week
