Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Subsidiary Launch & Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the Go-to-Market communication strategy for the US subsidiary, aligning all messaging with global corporate objectives.
  • Media & Press Relations: Leverage existing networks to rapidly build and maintain high-level relationships with top-tier US business, tech, and mainstream media outlets.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management: Establish a proactive crisis communication framework tailored to the US market, mitigating risks related to compliance, cultural nuances, or market competition.
  • Corporate Communications: Oversee the creation of all high-stakes communications, including press releases, executive speeches, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Cross-Border Leadership: Plan and eventually scale the local US communications team while ensuring seamless alignment with the overseas headquarters.

Requirements

  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Marketing, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director, VP, or C-level).
  • US Market Expertise: Proven track record of executing large-scale communication initiatives in the United States. Experience in launching a US subsidiary for a foreign entity or working in a multinational media/tech firm is highly preferred.
  • Media Network: A robust, active network of journalists, editors, and influencers within the North American market.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, crisis management, and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
  • Language & Culture: Native-level English proficiency with a deep understanding of US business culture, media landscape, and advertising/compliance regulations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
