Job Description

Responsibilities - Serve as Editor-in-Chief for association magazines, newsletters, directories and other publications. - Develop editorial calendars and content strategies. - Write, edit, proofread and manage content from contributors and industry experts. - Ensure editorial quality, accuracy and consistency across all publications. - Coordinate publication production schedules and vendor relationships. - Design and produce magazines, membership directories, event books and marketing collateral. - Manage publication layout and production using Adobe InDesign. - Oversee print and digital distribution. - Manage and continuously improve association websites. - Create, update, and maintain website content using WordPress. - Monitor website performance and recommend enhancements to improve user experience and member engagement. - Coordinate email marketing campaigns and digital communications initiatives. - Develop and implement social media strategies for both associations. - Create engaging content across social media platforms. - Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to increase reach and engagement. - Support membership recruitment, retention, events and sponsorship initiatives through strategic communications. - Develop comprehensive communications plans aligned with association goals. - Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials. - Advise association leadership on communications opportunities and best practices. - Identify new communication tools and technologies to enhance member engagement.
