Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This role will lead CCDH’s digital fundraising strategy, owning online revenue targets and overseeing end-to-end supporter journeys from first touch to retention.
  • Responsibilities include managing paid digital programmes (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), optimising email and social conversion funnels, running A/B testing, and working collaboratively with the Communications and Development teams to translate moments of public visibility into fundraising action.
  • A senior fundraising leadership role reporting to the Chief Development Officer.
  • The Director will design and lead CCDH’s major gifts strategy focused on individual donors and family foundations, managing a personal portfolio of high-net-worth donors and building a team of fundraising professionals.
  • Responsibilities include cultivating and closing five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts, representing CCDH in high-level donor interactions, and serving as liaison between the development and programme/communications teams.
  • Remote, with option of hybrid in DC office.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years’ experience in digital fundraising or performance marketing within a non-profit or mission-driven agency required
  • Up to 10 years of progressive fundraising experience required, including 5 years leading a major gifts team
