Job Summary

Own and execute a strategic business-development program to build referral networks with behavioral-health providers and community partners for telehealth PHP and IOP services. Drive outreach campaigns, establish relationships, track activity, and collaborate with leadership to grow referrals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with detox, residential, inpatient, PHP, outpatient, private-practice, and recovery-community providers.
  • Educate clinicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community partners about our telehealth PHP and IOP services and their place within the continuum of care.
  • Develop and carry out outreach strategies to increase referrals and strengthen community visibility.
  • Conduct professional outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, facility visits, presentations, and consistent follow-up.
  • Represent the program at industry events, networking opportunities, professional associations, and appropriate community events.
  • Track outreach activity, contacts, follow-ups, and results.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other team members on outreach priorities, marketing materials, events, and growth strategies.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and follow all confidentiality, HIPAA, ethical-marketing, anti-kickback, and patient-brokering requirements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, outreach, provider relations, or marketing within behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of the behavioral-health and addiction-treatment continuum, including detox, residential, inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong follow-through and willingness to consistently document outreach activity and next steps.
  • Ability to travel locally and attend scheduled industry or community events, including occasional evenings or weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred

  • An established professional network within the Southern California behavioral-health, addiction-treatment, or recovery communities.
  • Experience representing PHP, IOP, telehealth, or dual-diagnosis services.
  • Familiarity with recovery-community organizations, peer-support programs, and mutual-support resources.
  • Knowledge of ethical referral development, healthcare marketing, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
