Job Summary

Drive on-site activations and brand storytelling for Coffee Boss Brew as a hands-on events & community lead.

  • Own end-to-end local events from setup to staffing and post-event learnings.
  • Must-have: ability to set up booths at 6 AM and post content the same day.
  • Standout: multi-channel content capture and on-brand storytelling across Instagram and TikTok.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Source, plan, and execute local and regional events: farmers markets, pop-ups, tastings, community partnerships, and sampling activations where product is sold on-site
  • Build and manage a rolling events calendar, handling logistics from booth setup to inventory to staffing
  • Represent the brand in person with energy and confidence. You are Coffee Boss Brew when you’re at the table
  • Track event performance: units sold, contacts captured, what worked, what didn’t. Every activation should teach us something
  • Identify new markets and venues for expansion beyond current geography
  • Capture content at every activation: photos, video, behind-the-scenes moments. The real stuff, not the stock-photo version
  • Work with our brand agency to ensure all content stays on-brand and aligned with strategy
  • Schedule and post approved content across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions with the brand’s voice
  • Support TikTok Lives and other real-time content opportunities tied to events and product drops

Requirements

  • A doer, not a delegator. You’re comfortable setting up a booth at 6 AM and posting the content from it by that evening
  • Organized and self-directed. You don’t need to be managed. You need a direction and the freedom to run
  • Genuinely excited about building something from scratch. This is not a coast-and-collect role
  • Strong communicator, both in person (events, community, staff) and in writing (social, brand voice)
  • Familiar with Instagram and TikTok. Not as a user, but as someone who understands how brands grow on them
  • Willing to work weekends and non-traditional hours when events require it

Preferred

  • Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or CPG brand activation
  • Event planning or field marketing background
  • Content creation chops (you can shoot and edit basic video on your phone without a tutorial)
  • Experience with Shopify, email marketing platforms, or project management tools
  • You’ve worked at a startup before and know what it actually means when someone says “fast-paced”
