Job Summary

Own end-to-end customer strategy and lifecycle in a big enterprise, shaping acquisition, retention, and lifetime value with data-driven bets across Marketing, Product, and Sales.

  • Own customer health, segmentation, and lifecycle decisions informed by analytics.
  • Coordinate offers, messaging, and product adoption with cross-functional partners to drive onboarding and retention outcomes.
  • Lead a customer success function, influence leadership decisions, and align the team with company strategic goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Define and execute comprehensive customer strategies (acquisition, retention, and lifetime value) based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Monitor customer health, engagement, and segmentation to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lifecycle Management: Optimize onboarding and customer lifecycle processes to reduce churn and increase brand loyalty.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to align offers, customer messaging, product adoption, and user experience.
  • Leadership: Lead a customer success team to execute initiatives and track performance metrics.
  • Voice of the Customer: Advocate for the customer in senior leadership meetings and ensure strategic alignment with company goals.
  • Job Contribution: Develops the organization’s philosophy, departmental strategies and defines long-term goals and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Leadership/People: Typically leads large teams, directly supervising supervisors as well as senior staff within the organization.
  • Cross-functional initiatives: Plays a significant part in cross-functional initiatives across AT&T.
  • Hiring/pay decisions: Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
