Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of RFP responses, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather necessary content and approvals.
  • Draft, edit, and format proposal documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with submission requirements.
  • Ensure certificates of insurance, contractor licenses, DIR registrations, and Mitsui financial info is all up to date on responses.
  • Maintain and update a centralized repository of RFP content, templates, and past submissions.
  • Track RFP opportunities and manage timelines to ensure timely and complete submissions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding RFP inquiries by attending Pre-bid meetings and submitting clarifying questions to the RFPs
  • Work to find relevant and useful intel for the Commercial team to leverage in putting together more competitive proposals.
  • Submit and manage Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to obtain competitive data and insights.
  • Organize, track, and analyze FOIA responses/research to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and strategic opportunities.
  • Share relevant findings with internal teams to inform business development and positioning strategies.

Requirements

  • Strong written communication and editing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Familiarity with public procurement processes and FOIA practices.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Office applications is required, especially managing large documents with citations
  • Extremely proficient Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Desire to work in a growing company in the renewable energy field.

Preferred

  • Proficiency or experience in Adobe InDesign is not required but may be a plus.
