Job Summary

Own cross functional ownership of the commercial strategy for a pharma brand, leading product marketing, launch readiness, and budgeted growth with sales, medical affairs, and market access alignment.

  • Drive pre and post launch plans with sales, market access, and medical affairs to build advocacy and drive adoption and brand growth.
  • Own budgets, performance tracking, and accountability for revenue and expense targets across the brand.
  • Coordinate external partners, vendors, events, and trainings to enable strategy, execution, and logistics at scale.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed net sales, volume, and P&L targets
  • Lead marketing strategy including planning, development, and implementation of product marketing plan; will include personal and non-personal marketing initiatives and other strategies and tactics for building brand awareness, trial, and usage in a highly competitive market
  • Lead the execution of strategic and tactical plans including development and deployment of sales tools, digital (omnichannel) marketing, speaker programs, and conventions
  • Lead the development and monitoring of analysis of performance against revenue and expense budgets
  • Ensure attainment of assigned components of corporate objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams of business leaders to support, develop, and direct pre-launch and post-launch plans and activities
  • Excel in relationship management with external partners and vendors
  • Tactical implementation will include partnering with Market Access and Medical Affairs on developing advocacy among healthcare providers and other key decision makers
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market, customer, and industry knowledge
  • Develop strong relationships with Sales Function to ensure alignment in strategy and execution

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in marketing, business, or life sciences required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Product launch experience preferred
  • Oncology product experience required
  • Knowledge of Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) treatment required
  • Extensive digital marketing experience, including marketing automation platform implementation and utilization
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop, and implement multi-dimensional commercial strategy and successful marketing plans
  • Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to understand financial analysis and its impact on business
  • Strong project management to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of the evolving changes within the pharmaceutical industry
