Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive communication and marketing strategies in support of the University's science and technology portfolio.
  • Collaborate with science and technology schools, initiatives and institute communications teams and leaders to create a cohesive narrative about NYU science and technology priorities and that demonstrates NYU's prowess in science and technology for a variety of audiences.
  • Work to elevate NYU's profile as a destination for cutting-edge research, innovation, and talent in science and technology.
  • Collaborate with central and school-based communications, media relations, and marketing teams to amplify news, press, and campaigns emerging from NYU’s science and technology schools, initiatives, and institutes.
  • Leverage NYU’s established digital and social media platforms to amplify science and technology initiatives across the University.
  • Proactively organize and foster effective internal communication within the science and technology community at NYU, ensuring faculty, researchers, and staff are informed and engaged with strategic priorities and achievements, and ensure transparency and coordination around promotional initiatives with marketing & communications representatives across schools.
  • Collaborate with event organizers to promote and publicize high-profile science and technology events, conferences, and symposia.
  • Manage budgets and establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
