Job Summary

Own cross-functional field programs and congress tactics for a Rare Disease portfolio, driving peer-to-peer engagement, speaker bureau content, and compliant promotional materials with clear KPIs.

  • Lead cross-functional congress planning and bureau operations to keep messaging aligned with brand goals
  • Own KPI development and reporting to Rare Disease leadership, tying activity to business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Thought Leader Liaison and sales to refine materials and maximize field impact

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead key initiatives to implement Peer to Peer tactical plan
  • Development & execution congress marketing plans & materials
  • Speaker bureau content strategy, training, execution & ongoing management
  • Advisory board planning and execution
  • Amplify peer to peer messaging through multichannel engagement tactics
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for brand tactical plan and communicate performance vs leading and lagging indicator to Rare Disease leadership
  • Contribute to Brand Planning and Tactical Plan development for the Rare Disease portfolio
  • Ensure compliant execution of all promotional activities
  • Collaborate with Rare disease field leadership to support sales force execution and gather feedback to refine materials/messages
  • Coordinate with other marketing brands to ensure cohesive portfolio strategy and external voice

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent is required
  • PharmD or MBA is preferred
  • At least 10 years of Biopharma commercial experience
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial marketing experience
  • Successful launch experience in the rare or specialty categories
  • Demonstrated strong scientific/medical aptitude and experience
  • Knowledge of the AMA, ACCME, PhRMA and FDA regulations associated with promotion and industry-supported scientific education activities

Preferred

  • Sales or field-based experience strongly preferred
  • PharmD or MBA is preferred
