  • Journeys & Automations: Design and optimize multi-audience automations (welcome, stewardship, event, solicitation, upgrade) and journeys.
  • Delivery, Reporting, and Optimization: Manage QA, deliverability, compliance, reporting, and vendor collaboration to improve ROI.

Job Description

Lead end-to-end planning, build, QA, deployment, and optimization of fundraising and donor engagement email communications, including campaigns, newsletters, and automated/triggered sends. ROI driven design and implementation across donor touchpoints. - Email Program Ownership: End-to-end planning, build, QA, deployment, and optimization of fundraising and donor engagement emails. - Strategy & Operating Model: Define the Office of Development email strategy, intake, calendaring, creative workflows, QA, approvals, and post-send reporting. - Journeys & Automations: Design and optimize multi-audience automations (welcome, stewardship, event, solicitation, upgrade) and journeys. - Marketing Cloud Implementation: Contribute to phased Marketing Cloud rollout and legacy-migration data/campaign foundations. - Digital Engagement Packages: Develop donor-facing microsites, content hubs, targeted newsletters, and cohort/individual communications. - Alumni Relations & Planned Giving: Assist audiences with timed email communications and newsletters. - Events Communications: Collaborate with Special Events on annual donor events email programs. - Testing & Measurement: Establish testing plans (A/B/multivariate) and optimize subject lines, content, and journey decisions. - Deliverability & Compliance: Manage CAN-SPAM, list hygiene, sender reputation, and standards documentation. - Vendor Collaboration & Documentation: Coordinate with vendors/partners and maintain process templates and dashboards.
