Job Summary

Own the advancement brand and multi-channel marketing engine, driving strategy, fundraising storytelling, and executive communications with data-driven optimization and cross-campus collaboration.

  • Strategy & Leadership: Own advancement marketing and communications strategy aligned with fundraising and alumni engagement goals.
  • Cross-Unit Partnerships: Align with Advancement leadership and University Relations to support priorities and brand standards.
  • Multi-Channel Deliverables: Lead high-impact, multi-channel deliverables including case statements, donor communications, events, and digital campaigns.
  • Operations & Governance: Oversee annual work plans, priorities, budgets, workflow, and quality assurance across communications.
  • Data-Driven Practices: Apply audience segmentation, analytics, market research, and feedback loops to optimize performance.
  • Tech & Automation: Oversee marketing automation, journey building, campaign automation, and integrations with CRM, web, email, and analytics.
  • Content & Storytelling: Guide gift announcements, fundraising storytelling, alumni engagement content, and campaign-aligned messaging.
  • People & Growth: Lead a team of marketing, writing, and creative professionals and establish performance expectations and development plans.
