Responsibilities

• The Assistant General Manager will work directly across sales, digital marketing, member experience, and day-to-day academy operations.
• On any given day, that may mean following up with prospective members, conducting tours and closing memberships, analyzing marketing performance, using AI to improve a business process, solving an operational problem, helping a parent, supporting staff, or ensuring that the academy is clean, organized, and operating at a consistently high professional standard.
• A major responsibility of the position is growth.
• The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the academy’s entire digital marketing stack, including:
• Google Ads
• Meta Ads
• Instagram
• Facebook
• Email marketing campaigns
• Text/SMS campaigns

Requirements

• Experience in digital marketing, sales, fitness, or martial arts is strongly preferred.
• Highly organized
• Technologically savvy
• Comfortable adopting new AI tools
• Able to operate effectively in a high-energy environment where priorities can change quickly
• Strategic thinker with ability to analyze performance data, speak with prospective members, and roll up their sleeves to help make the academy successful
• Entrepreneurial—takes ownership of problems, communicates well, enjoys working with people, and wants responsibility
• Long-term commitment, strong leadership, and meaningful ability to create enterprise value
