Job Summary

Own the social content engine with a hands-on mix of platform-native copy, publishing discipline, and community listening that informs campaigns and quick problem solving.

  • Social storytelling: craft brand-forward copy and engage audiences across major platforms while keeping a pulse on internet culture.
  • Publishing & QA: manage calendars, ensure accuracy, and perform copy/assets checks before going live.
  • Insights & iteration: monitor conversations and trends to surface actionable recommendations for the team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Be immersed in internet culture, identifying emerging trends, conversations, and platform behaviors that can inform our work
  • Support the execution of social campaigns alongside Social Leads, including copywriting, publishing, scheduling, asset management, and community engagement
  • Craft sharp, platform-native copy that reflects each brand's voice while driving audience engagement
  • Bring a social-first perspective to brainstorms and day-to-day problem solving
  • Stay knowledgeable of platform best practices, new features, and evolving social trends to inform recommendations and execution
  • Manage social publishing calendars, ensuring content is organized, accurate, and delivered on schedule
  • Perform quality assurance across copy, creative assets, and publishing before content goes live
  • Monitor community conversations and engage with audiences where appropriate, surfacing meaningful insights back to the team
  • Show up to internal meetings prepared, engaged, and ready to contribute ideas
  • Continually look for ways to improve our workflow, processes, and team efficiency

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in social media, community management, digital marketing, or a related field at an agency, brand, publisher, or equivalent
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write engaging, platform-native copy across multiple brands
  • Deep understanding of major social platforms, internet culture, and evolving digital trends
  • Experience using social publishing, scheduling, and community management tools
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to identify trends, monitor conversations, and surface relevant insights to the team
  • Exceptional written communication skills with flawless spelling and grammar
  • Receive constructive criticism with grace and implement feedback proactively
  • In possession of an ego-free personality that can work with a highly motivated team to get shit done
