Drive community outreach and capacity-building for The Toolbox in Wyandotte County to expand access to services and strengthen partnerships.

Develop and document outreach plans and engagement systems.
Must-have: AmeriCorps VISTA program experience and on-site arrangement.
Standout: Focus on volunteers, partnerships, and fundraising support in Kansas.

The VISTA member will build The Toolbox’s long-term capacity to expand outreach, strengthen partnerships, and improve access to services for residents in Wyandotte County.
Develop and document a comprehensive outreach plan, create communication materials, and establish systems that support consistent engagement with community organizations, churches, and neighborhood partners.
Strengthen digital communication by maintaining website content, creating templates, and developing a content calendar.
Support fundraising and volunteer engagement by building tools for events, campaigns, and volunteer coordination.
Participate in professional development, team meetings, and AmeriCorps activities while creating sustainable systems that help The Toolbox connect more residents to programs and resources.
