Job Summary

Own regional spirits advocacy and education across trade relations, category training, and market intelligence to drive education programs and data-driven guidance for hospitality channels.

  • Trade Advocacy & Relationship Building: Convert relationships with bartenders and distributors into advocacy actions and industry influence.
  • Category Education & Training: Build staff trainings and customer programs around spirits categories and storytelling.
  • Market Intelligence & Learning: Collect insights from the trade and deepen product knowledge to shape recommendations.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Legal and Compliance Accountability: Maintain all legal and marketing code guidelines.
  • Trade Advocacy & Relationship Building: Build authentic relationships with bartenders, beverage directors, bar owners, retailers, distributor partners, and industry influencers.
  • Trade Advocacy & Relationship Building: Develop and execute advocacy strategies that strengthen the portfolio’s reputation within the spirits and hospitality community.
  • Trade Advocacy & Relationship Building: Represent the portfolio at trade events, industry conferences, tastings, cocktail competitions, and customer activations.
  • Category and Customer Education: Conduct staff trainings, trade seminars, customer workshops, and distributor education sessions.
  • Category and Customer Education: Design and deliver educational programs focused on spirits categories, production methods, cocktail culture, and brand storytelling.
  • Category and Customer Education: Help customers improve category understanding, menu development, cocktail execution, and premiumization opportunities.
  • Market/Trade Intelligence & Learning: Gather qualitative and quantitative insights from customers, bartenders, distributors, and industry stakeholders, and deepen knowledge in spirits and presentation skills.
  • Agency Accountabilities: Manage agency initiatives including budget/expenses, reporting, and performance-data tracking using agency platforms.
  • Network Partnership: Serve as a key liaison for the portfolio, distributor, trade and customers within a designated market.
