Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and cultivate long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Play an integral role in new business pitches, leading the effective on-boarding process for new clients.
  • Develop sales programs and strategic plans designed to meet and exceed budgeted sales objectives.
  • Focus on growing and developing existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Oversee mid-level accounts that are moderately complex in scope, coordinating with teams and internal departments for optimal delivery.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration.
  • Analyze client and market trends, making informed recommendations to further business goals and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of client campaigns, marketing plans, and project delivery.
  • Monitor account financials, including budgets and forecasts, to ensure profitability and adherence to goals.
  • Address moderately complex issues and escalate more advanced problems to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field required.
  • Typically requires 2 to 4 years of direct experience in account management, client relations, or sales.
  • Solid understanding of account management principles, sales strategies, and client onboarding practices.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer/client orientation and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Effective leadership, collaboration, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Strong account management, sales program development, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams.
