Job Summary

Own tactical to strategic sponsorship support and client leadership across multiple accounts in sports marketing, shaping decks, research, and opportunity identification for senior executives.

  • Own day-to-day client communication and multi-client project management, including sponsorship evaluation and negotiation support
  • Design research-backed strategy decks and reports to inform partnerships and activation
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and present sports partnerships to senior leaders

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Assist AE/SAE/Supervisor in day-to-day communication
  • Organize and track documents, such as activation calendars, billing, metrics, recaps, and evaluations
  • Manage multiple clients and projects, including developing a broad understanding of clients’ businesses and needs
  • Aid in the evaluation and negotiation of sponsorship proposals on behalf of Optimum Sports clients
  • Recognize and solve tactical problems; participate in development of strategic solutions
  • Design decks and word documents that convey strategy supported with appropriate research
  • Gain a strong understanding of research from third party data, industry trades, and additional sources to produce and interpret reports
  • Proactive in identifying new projects and business opportunities with existing clients
  • Assist in presenting new partnership and annual sports strategic opportunities to senior level client executives
  • Familiar with in-stadium partnership structure, assets, and overall terminology
  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or communications
  • Entry Level, 1 year of experience
  • Knowledge of sports is essential
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate ideas in both a written and verbal setting
  • General understanding of industry knowledge, sports marketing vernacular, and trends
  • Self-sufficient, enthusiastic, and proactively pursues assignments
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver assignments under deadlines
  • Efficient and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research
  • Knowledge of sports is essential
