Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Employee Engagement & Internal Communications: Support the development and execution of employee engagement and internal communications programs that help organizations inform, engage and inspire employees.
  • Content Development & Storytelling: Research, write and edit communications materials including emails, newsletters, presentations, messaging documents, leadership communications and other employee-facing content.
  • Research & Communications Insights: Conduct communications research, monitor trends and identify insights that help inform strategies, content and program recommendations.
  • Client Support & Program Execution: Support day-to-day client work by managing timelines, coordinating deliverables and contributing to successful communications programs.
  • Business & Industry Understanding: Develop an understanding of client businesses, industries and communications challenges while staying informed on employee engagement, internal communications and change management best practices.
  • Team Collaboration & Professional Growth: Partner with colleagues across disciplines, support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative environment where people can learn and grow.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in public relations, internal communications, corporate communications or related fields within an agency or similar environment.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, internal communications or change management programs.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience developing content for employee, leadership or stakeholder audiences.
  • Experience conducting communications research and translating findings into clear recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to think strategically while supporting day-to-day client programs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Curiosity about employee engagement, workplace culture and evolving communications practices.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, contribute ideas and support team success.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with internal communications platforms such as Firstup, SocialChorus, Qualtrics, Workplace, SharePoint or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting integrated communications or organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience creating presentations, newsletters or executive communications.
  • Interest in employee engagement research, communications measurement or workplace culture.
