Job Summary

Own media relations and executive communications for travel and hospitality focused accounts, guiding strategy, storytelling, and crisis-ready messaging across multiple clients.

  • Own multi-account PR strategy and campaign planning to drive earned coverage in travel, hospitality, and arts sectors.
  • Lead media outreach and story placements across local, regional, and national outlets, with crisis comms as needed.
  • Shape external and internal messaging through press materials and talking points, coordinating day-to-day client work and strategic communications plans.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accounts
  • Pitch and place media stories across local, regional and national outlets
  • Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications plans
  • Oversee day-to-day communications with clients, including staffing weekly calls, developing press recaps and participating in crisis communications, as necessary
  • Manage work streams across multiple accounts in the arts and culture sector

Requirements

  • Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications
  • Interest in PR specifically within the travel and hospitality space
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
