Social Media Intern (Part-time, Paid)

Responsibilities

• Drafting, scheduling and publishing posts across our channels
• Creating basic visual assets and short videos, or working with the team on them
• Monitoring engagement and replying to comments and messages in a friendly, professional brand voice
• Finding conversations about AI that we should join, and suggesting how
• Supporting social media campaigns and tracking performance (reach, engagement, follower growth)
• Sending regular short reports on what worked, so we know what to do more of
• Working with the product and marketing team to highlight new AI features, user stories and community feedback
• Suggesting new post ideas, series and trends

Requirements

• Skills in social media marketing and social media content creation
• Skills in digital marketing and marketing
• Strong communication skills, including clear written and interpersonal communication
• Excellent written English and a good eye for tone
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, X, Instagram and YouTube, and how each one works
• Understanding of social analytics and a willingness to learn a scheduling tool
• Organised and reliable, able to work independently in a remote environment and manage time well
• Interest in AI, technology start-ups and user-centred products is highly preferred
• Relevant coursework or prior internship experience in marketing, communications or media is a plus

Preferred

• Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar)
• Graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, Photoshop or similar)
• Experience with short-form video, captions, scripts or motion graphics
• Your own social accounts or a portfolio we can look at
