Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and create engaging content (reels, videos, carousels, stories, posts) across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Support the Assistant Marketing Manager in executing content strategies tailored to each platform while keeping Specscart’s tone cheeky, human, and fashion-forward.
  • Produce original photo, video, and graphic content from ideation to execution — including filming, editing, and captioning.
  • A strong understanding of evolving algorithms, trends, and cultural moments to adapt content for maximum visibility and organic reach (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Youtube, linkedin)
  • Maintain and manage the social media content calendar to ensure timely publishing around product launches, campaigns, and trends.
  • Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth) and deliver weekly reports with clear takeaways and next steps.
  • Contribute fresh, bold ideas in creative brainstorming sessions, always linking them to current cultural and fashion trends.
  • Provide day-to-day community management support by replying to comments, DMs, and basic customer queries — always in line with our brand voice.
  • Capture content during events, store launches, and behind-the-scenes moments to build authentic storytelling.
  • Test and experiment with new formats (polls, quizzes, trending audios) to increase audience interaction and engagement.

Requirements

  • Prior experience (2–4 years) in Social Media Executive, Content Creator, or Digital Marketing roles, with hands-on expertise in content creation and social media management.
  • Solid video and graphic content creation skills, with experience using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, InShot, or similar.
  • Good understanding of storytelling, visual composition, and social media trends to craft content that resonates.
  • Confident and comfortable in front of the camera for on-ground content capture.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude toward learning and executing new ideas.

  • Open to travel as required for location shoots.
