Senior Paid Social Manager (London)

Responsibilities

• Lead performance media across a portfolio of high-stakes clients - owning the strategy, the work and the outcomes.
• Be the senior face of TGI's paid practice for your accounts.
• Set multi-channel paid strategy across your portfolio - the approach, the KPIs, the test-and-learn roadmap.
• Lead senior client conversations on performance, planning and growth.
• Bring outside-in thinking to client briefs: industry context, platform shifts, what competitors are doing.
• Pressure-test plans against real-world results and adjust at speed.
• Mentor and line-manage Paid Managers and Senior Execs - review work, set the craft bar, give structured feedback that sticks.
• Lead pitch contributions on paid strategy and run sessions internally to develop the team.
• Build career paths for the people you lead and own their progression conversations.
• Set the analytics framework across your accounts; surface trends across campaigns and turn them into agency-wide best practice.

Requirements

• Senior paid track record. 5+ years in performance media, with a sharp portfolio of senior-led campaigns at meaningful scale.
• A confident senior face for clients. You can hold the room with CMOs and Marketing Directors - calmly, with data and conviction.
• A people leader. You've actively coached and developed paid talent and can show how your team has grown under you.
• Strategically sharp. You think in roadmaps and test plans, not just campaigns. You bring outside context into the room.
• Creative-fluent. You partner well with creative leads, brief sharply, and know how to unlock paid-first work.
• Commercially confident. Forecast ownership, margin awareness, scope discipline - these are second nature.
• Calm in a crisis. Performance dips, platform outages, last-minute pivots - you steady the ship and lead the response.
• A craft champion. You set the bar on the basics - naming, structure, QC, reporting - and hold the team to it.
• AI-fluent. Gemini/Claude/Perplexity plus platform-native AI - you've got a point of view on what's working and you're shaping how the team uses it.
• Curious about what's next. AI in paid, signal loss, retail media, emerging platforms - you've got a point of view and you're shaping it.
