Public Relations and Communications Internship

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of influencer and media research
• Maintaining the calendar of events and helping to coordinate PR campaigns
• Managing media queries, press releases and events
• Assist in ensuring The Walt Disney Company, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates is portrayed and communicated to the world in a positive and honest light
• Support day-to-day operations of a busy press office, assisting with media relations, press events, reporting, and campaign execution
• Help generate positive media coverage, coordinate media and influencer visits, monitor industry trends, and contribute creative ideas to support integrated communications campaigns

Requirements

• Must be a second-year undergraduate student on a placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2028
• Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
• Available to start working full time from June 2027
• Interested in the area you are applying for, whether this is through your studies, experiences, extracurricular activities or a general interest
• A strong curiosity in PR and communications and your preferred business area
• Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to connect with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
• Strong MS Office skills
