  • Lead user-facing release notes and help centre content to explain changes
  • Drive activation through lifecycle campaigns with a focus on Notes
  • Collaborate on regional content strategy and execution

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Owning end-user comms for every product release and change — writing help centre articles, in-app updates, and release notes so users always know what's changed and why it matters to them.
  • Running lifecycle campaigns in Customer.io to drive product adoption, with a particular focus on activating users of our Notes product — this is the largest part of the role.
  • Coordinating campaign scheduling with our fortnightly newsletter cadence, keeping user comms consistent and predictable rather than reactive.
  • Launch bespoke campaigns - in conjunction with our enablement and product teams to leverage comms to highlight features, products for maximum adoption
  • Producing product marketing collateral — owning the creation and upkeep of key one-pagers, decks, and product assets for GTM teams
  • Partnering with the Product GTM Lead on localised content direction and strategy for each of our verticals, while owning the day-to-day execution and output yourself.
  • Helping build the foundations of a brand new function, including laying the groundwork for content to scale by region as our footprint grows.

Requirements

  • Experienced in product or lifecycle marketing, with 2+ years in a relevant role, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • You're confident using email or lifecycle marketing platforms (Customer.io strongly preferred; Mailchimp or HubSpot also considered).
  • Comfortable working closely with Product and Engineering teams, with enough technical understanding to grasp product details and translate them into clear, accessible communications.
  • Proactive and commercially minded, able to assess an existing lifecycle marketing setup, identify opportunities for improvement and take ownership of making them happen.
  • An excellent writer with a strong eye for detail, capable of turning complex product updates and new features into engaging, clear and genuinely useful communications for end users.
  • Confident owning campaigns end to end, from building and launching campaigns in Customer.io through to scheduling, measuring performance and optimising results.
  • Highly organised and dependable, comfortable managing multiple priorities and maintaining a consistent communications cadence in a fast-moving environment.
  • A natural collaborator, confident working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering and Marketing teams to create impactful, high-quality content.
  • Excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up, joining a newly established function where you'll help shape the processes, workflows and foundations that enable us to scale.
