Job Description

Responsibilities

Support Head of PR & Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager with:
Media and communications strategies
Crafting impactful press releases, news stories and securing media coverage
Liaising with participating artists, managers and labels on their Record Store Day and National Album Day campaign activity and products
Supporting on ERA and Record Store Day events and sponsor activities
Supporting with presentations to key sponsors and stakeholders
Working with the PR and social media team to develop content ideas
Liaising with ERA members and the media

Requirements

Some previous music industry/ marketing/ PR/ label management experience preferred
1 to 2 years’ experience in the music industry
Background in Journalism, PR, Marketing, Music Management or similar
Excel, PowerPoint and Canva proficiency
Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and campaigns
A passion for and knowledge of music, the entertainment business and entertainment retail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to write for different audiences and platforms
Creative and enthusiastic approach to news and press generation
