Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Create, curate, and schedule compelling content across all relevant social media channels.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics to optimise engagement.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with followers, responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in social media management and public relations to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Organise online campaigns, competitions, and collaborations to increase brand awareness.
  • Handle crisis communication effectively by addressing any negative feedback or issues professionally.
  • Must be confident in content creation for regular content shoots
  • Ability to edit videos is a bonus

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management is not essential, but a bonus. If you do not have experience, please send over a creative portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights from analytics reports.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to produce innovative content ideas.
  • Organisation skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • A recognised qualification in marketing, communications, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
