Responsibilities

• Social media and content across both businesses
• Creating photos, videos, customer stories and case studies
• Building relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers and partners
• Developing joint marketing activity with suppliers
• Maximising available supplier marketing support
• Working with our Notts County partnership to maximise opportunities around brand exposure, hospitality, networking, content and customer engagement
• Organising supplier days, trade mornings, customer events, product demonstrations and launches
• Attending relevant industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities
• Identifying PR, sponsorship and brand-awareness opportunities
• Coordinating brochures, signage, promotional materials and branded merchandise

Requirements

• This isn’t an entry-level role.
• You’ll need previous hands-on marketing experience and the confidence to work independently.
• We’re looking for someone who spots opportunities and acts on them, rather than waiting to be given a list of jobs.
• You’ll be organised, confident with people, commercially minded and comfortable dealing directly with customers, suppliers and partners.

Preferred

• Experience in construction, building materials, builders’ merchants, timber, sheet materials, manufacturing or B2B would be an advantage.
