Job Summary

Own the end-to-end pipeline for new business by identifying opportunities, coordinating external consultants, and shaping bids and proposals.

  • Growth / business development: end-to-end pipeline from discovery to procurement bids with external partners.
  • Market intelligence: build market and competitor insight to sharpen proposals and demonstrate impact.
  • Visibility and credibility: deliver marketing activity that supports KPIs and strengthens reputation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategies that identify, generate and convert new business opportunities
  • Build a strong understanding of our services, market and competition
  • Act as an ambassador for Evolving Communities with commissioners, partners and clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new clients, understand their needs, shape compelling proposals, support funding applications and procurement bids
  • Use insight and evidence to demonstrate the value and impact of our work
  • Lead a team of external consultants who will support delivery of new business opportunities
  • Deliver marketing activity that strengthens visibility, credibility and reputation, while supporting targets and KPIs tied to the strategic plan

Requirements

  • Experience of marketing, communications, income generation or business development
  • Ability to build professional relationships and spot opportunities for growth
  • Comfort promoting services to public bodies and partners including NHS organisations, local authorities, Integrated Care Boards, public health teams and voluntary sector organisations
  • Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, develop clear marketing materials, use data and evidence persuasively
  • Understanding of patient voice, participation, community insight and co-production
  • Commitment to independence, inclusion, accountability and impact
  • Creative, proactive and solutions-focused, with ability to work independently and in a small team

Preferred

  • 1 year experience capturing, managing and analysing data and research (preferred)
  • 1 year marketing experience (preferred)
  • 1 year supporting programmes and projects (preferred)
  • 1 year delivering income generation and business growth (preferred)
  • 1 year working with stakeholders (preferred)
