Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the MPA Group's marketing strategy, with focus on supporting commercial objectives and growth ambitions across all three entities
  • Strengthen awareness and understanding of MCPS licensing services and value proposition.
  • Support the continued growth and profile of PMLL by developing audience-focused marketing strategies and market development plans.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies and targeted engagement plans across member, licensee and stakeholder groups.
  • Define and evolve market positioning, messaging and brand narratives across MCPS, MPA and PMLL.
  • Ensure marketing activity supports commercial growth, stakeholder engagement and organisational objectives.
  • Work with senior leadership to translate business priorities into effective marketing plans.
  • Identify opportunities to increase awareness, participation and engagement across all MPA Group organisations.
  • Develop campaigns that strengthen relationships with publishers, songwriters, composers, licensees, educators and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Manger to create targeted communication and engagement plans for different stakeholder groups.

Requirements

  • A strong track record in senior marketing role.
  • Success in developing and delivering marketing strategies that support organisational goals and deliver measurable results.
  • The ability to identify, segment and engage diverse audiences through targeted and effective marketing activity.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing can support business growth, market development and stakeholder value.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • A proven ability to plan and deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to turn data, insight and market intelligence into meaningful action.
  • The capability to produce presentations and marketing materials that engage and inspire audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent marketing planning and prioritisation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience within licensing, membership, rights management, music, publishing or creative industries.
  • Experience supporting business transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of copyright, licensing or collective rights management.
  • Experience developing marketing strategies that support commercial growth, audience acquisition or licensing activity.
