Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, commission and deliver qualitative and quantitative market research to understand learner motivations, behaviours and decision-making across different audiences.
  • Translate insight into practical recommendations that inform portfolio design, pricing, positioning and recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain audience segmentation frameworks to support more targeted and personalised marketing activity.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor activity, trends and best practice across the UK and international lifelong learning landscape.
  • Evaluate marketing and recruitment performance using analytics platforms, CRM data and reporting tools, working closely with senior colleagues to optimise campaigns, channel mix, audience targeting and conversion performance.
  • Support the monitoring, analysis and reporting of campaign performance across digital channels including paid media, CRM, website and SEO activity, helping identify opportunities to improve engagement and recruitment outcomes.
  • Produce dashboards, reports and forecasts that support planning, scenario modelling, attribution analysis and growth.
  • Support the maintenance and optimisation of reporting processes, campaign tracking frameworks and marketing systems to ensure accurate and effective performance measurement across digital activity.
  • Assist with audience segmentation, CRM reporting, workflow testing and data quality improvement initiatives to support more effective and personalised learner communications.
  • Conduct ongoing market, audience and competitor analysis, including pricing, positioning, search trends and campaign benchmarking, to identify opportunities and inform marketing and recruitment strategies.

Preferred

  • Experience in higher education, professional learning or a related sector is desirable but not essential.
