Job Summary

Own integrated consumer marketing for HarperCollins Children’s Books, shaping multi-channel campaigns that drive title sales and brand growth while measuring and learning from performance.

  • Campaign Strategy: Own end-to-end planning and multi-channel activation (radio, OOH, print, mobile, social, digital, events) to maximize impact.
  • Digital & Innovation: Drive digital marketing initiatives and introduce innovative, data-driven ideas to the division.
  • Measurement & Growth: Analyze campaigns, share learnings, and apply insights to strengthen future strategies and brand strategy for frontlist and backlist.

Job Description

  • Drive end-to-end consumer marketing campaigns for HarperCollins Children’s Books to boost sales and brand impact.
  • Brand and product strategy across multiple channels including radio, OOH, print, mobile, social, digital and events to optimize mix.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives with new ideas and measurable impact while evaluating cost versus benefit for every campaign.
  • Campaign planning and media activation: brief agencies on titles/authors and deliverables to inform marketing campaigns.
  • Stakeholder communication: clearly convey campaigns to internal and relevant external audiences, including authors.
  • Asset creation and sign-off: manage design, production, and approval workflows for campaign assets.
  • Team leadership and growth: manage the Marketing Exec with coaching, objectives, and a growth-minded culture.
  • Market and customer insight: demonstrate understanding of competitors, retail trends, and consumer needs to drive competitive advantage.
  • Analytics and learning: analyze campaigns, share learnings, and apply insights to future strategies.
  • Brand expansion: develop strategies to grow frontlist and backlist author brands in line with overall brand strategy.
