Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own core marketing programmes for ILS Provision: Plan and execute campaigns that drive awareness, qualified demand, and pipeline across our priority segments (institutional fund managers, private equity, and top-tier law firms).
  • Build and run campaigns end to end: Design and manage multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn, content, events/webinars, partnerships), from idea and brief through execution, measurement, and iteration.
  • Develop content that speaks to fund formation and legal buyers: Work with the founder and Head of Growth to create and repurpose content (articles, guides, playbooks, case studies, landing pages, collateral) that educates our audience and positions ILS as the expert in fund formation workflows.
  • Optimise lead capture and nurture: Improve how we capture, enrich, and nurture leads across the funnel. Collaborate with Sales to define scoring, routing, follow-up, and handover processes that convert interest into qualified conversations.
  • Turn data into insight and action: Own the marketing reporting basics: campaign performance, channel performance, funnel conversion, and contribution to pipeline and revenue. Use data to make recommendations and prioritise where we double down vs. stop.
  • Enable and accelerate Sales: Build sales enablement assets with the help of our designers (decks, one-pagers, email sequences, objection handling, competitive positioning) that help our team move opportunities faster through the funnel.
  • Use AI and automation to scale: Leverage AI tools (including Claude,Perplexity, GPT-based tools, and others) to accelerate content creation, testing, personalisation, and analysis while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Build repeatable processes and playbooks: Create simple, scalable workflows for how we launch campaigns, manage our database, run experiments, and report on performance.

Requirements

  • c.4 years of experience in B2B marketing across growth marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations, ideally within SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of full‑funnel marketing and how to move prospects from awareness to opportunity and revenue in a considered, high-touch buying journey.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing and revenue tools, such as marketing automation/CRM (e.g., HubSpot), LinkedIn Campaign Manager, email marketing, Airops, and analytics tools.
  • Comfort with imperfect data and evolving systems; you can diagnose issues, propose pragmatic fixes, and design processes that scale as we grow.
  • Proven experience running campaigns for niche or specialised audiences, ideally in legal or financial services.
  • Commercial mindset, with a clear understanding of how marketing activities translate into pipeline, opportunity acceleration, and revenue, not just vanity metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret performance data and turn it into clear recommendations and next steps for Marketing and Sales.
  • Excellent organisation and project management, comfortable managing multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and timelines in parallel.
  • Collaborative working style, able to partner effectively with Growth, Sales, Product, and external partners.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch, with a bias towards action and iteration rather than waiting for perfect information.

Preferred

  • Experience with legal tech, fund formation, private equity, or law firm audiences is a strong plus, but not a requirement if you’re excited to learn the domain.
