Job Summary

Own social content and community management across platforms, turning calendar-driven publishing into consistent brand storytelling with audience engagement driving feedback and insights.

  • Content & calendar ownership: plan, create, and schedule on-brand content across reels, stories, carousels, and posts.
  • Community & voice: grow an engaged online community, respond to comments and messages, and surface recurring issues for improvements.
  • Performance & iteration: track content metrics, scan trends, and adjust tactics using platform insights and competitive benchmarking.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management
  • Plan, create, and maintain a consistent, high-quality content calendar.
  • Manage content production from ideation through to scheduling and publishing.
  • Monitor social trends, cultural moments, and reactive opportunities to keep content relevant and engaging.
  • Track performance and optimise content using analytics, platform insights, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Ensure all content aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Act as the day-to-day voice of the brand across social media platforms.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to comments, direct messages, customer feedback, and complaints.
  • Build and nurture an engaged online community through proactive interaction and relationship building.
  • Escalate customer issues where appropriate and identify recurring themes or opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years' experience in a marketing, social media, or digital marketing role.
  • Proven experience managing social media channels end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms.
  • Experience creating short-form video and trend-led content.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working with influencers and content creators
  • Design and video editing experience
  • Experience using CRM and email marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and social media reporting tools
  • Experience within food, retail, hospitality, or franchise businesses
