Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Social media, content and leadership voice (around 45%). Run Bywater’s LinkedIn and Instagram channels day to day and manage the content calendar.
• Create content on site and with project teams, including copy, photography and short-form video.
• Support the CEO, Chairman and senior leaders with their LinkedIn presence, drafting posts for their approval.
• Manage comments and messages, and report monthly on engagement, reach and qualified connections.
• Conferences, events and memberships (around 30%). Coordinate registrations, travel, logistics and on-the-day support for our 2027 conference programme.
• Prepare pre-event briefs, deliver social coverage before, during and after each event, and log follow-ups.
• Support Bywater-hosted events, including guest lists, invitations and seating plans.
• Manage our industry memberships so we make full use of their events and benefits.
• Investor and business development support (around 15%). Help produce investor briefs, messaging and target lists, and keep the relationship tracker current.
• Flag warm leads to the investment and development teams using tools such as Leadinfo.

Requirements

• Around two or more years’ experience in marketing, communications or events, ideally in property, investment or B2B.
• Experience running brand social channels, including LinkedIn, and creating your own content (copy, photography and short-form video).
• Experience coordinating events or conferences end to end.
• Excellent writing skills, including drafting in someone else’s voice.
• Confidence working with senior leaders, and discretion with commercially sensitive information.
• Highly organised, and able to manage a busy calendar with peaks around major conferences.
• Willing to travel within the UK, with some evening work around events.

Preferred

• Desirable:* interest in UK property or real estate investment; CRM, scheduling or analytics tools; Canva, Adobe or video editing skills; investor relations, PR or membership experience; working with agencies and suppliers.
