Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing the Company’s services, pricing, customer profile, existing promotional activity and target market to identify current and future marketing requirements.
  • Conducting competitor and local market research covering Thornton Heath and surrounding areas, including competitor pricing, service positioning, online visibility, customer reviews and promotional activity.
  • Preparing and implementing a structured marketing strategy designed to increase customer enquiries, bookings, repeat visits and referrals.
  • Developing and managing marketing campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google Business Profile and other appropriate digital platforms.
  • Planning and overseeing paid digital advertising campaigns where commercially appropriate.
  • Creating and managing a content strategy covering hair transformations, styling results, customer testimonials, service information, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Producing or coordinating suitable written, photographic and video content for the Company’s marketing channels.
  • Developing customer acquisition and retention initiatives, including referral programmes, loyalty incentives, targeted offers, promotional packages and follow-up campaigns.
  • Monitoring customer engagement, enquiries, bookings, campaign expenditure and return on advertising investment.
  • Preparing regular performance reports and providing recommendations to the Company Director.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have at least three years of relevant professional experience in marketing, digital promotion, advertising, customer engagement, campaign development or a closely related field.
  • Applicants should also have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns, using social media platforms for commercial marketing, conducting market and competitor research, and managing customer acquisition and retention activities.
  • The successful candidate must be able to analyse campaign performance, customer engagement and advertising expenditure, prepare clear marketing plans and performance reports, communicate effectively, work independently and establish suitable marketing systems within a small business.
  • No particular academic degree is mandatory.
  • Applicants will be assessed primarily on their relevant experience, practical marketing ability and capacity to perform the advertised duties.
