Own and drive integrated marketing and fundraising initiatives to raise awareness, engage supporters, and fund marine conservation efforts.

  • Coordinate campaigns and manage supporter relationships including the Seal Pup Sponsorship
  • Support online shop and digital channels to boost visits and donations

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Share the incredible work of the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and SEA LIFE TUST, helping to inspire supporters, grow our audience and raise vital funds for marine conservation.
  • Create engaging social media content and filming seal pup rescue journeys
  • Write blogs, newsletters and fundraising campaigns
  • Bring our stories to life across a variety of digital channels
  • Keep our website fresh, managing our content calendar and supporting seasonal marketing campaigns that encourage more people to visit and support our mission
  • Build meaningful relationships with our supporters by managing our Seal Pup Sponsorship programme
  • Coordinate fundraising campaigns
  • Develop our Business Ambassador scheme
  • Work alongside colleagues to grow our regular giving and fundraising activity
  • Support our online shop

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a marketing, communications or fundraising role, charity sector experience is welcome but not essential
  • An excellent writer with the ability to adapt your tone for different audiences and platforms
  • Experience creating engaging social media content, including short form video, with confidence using digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms, ideally Mailchimp
  • A creative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for conservation, animal welfare or the charity sector
