Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the marketing and communications strategy for Culham Campus.
• Create annual marketing plans, including budgets, target audiences and performance measures.
• Lead integrated campaigns across digital, print, social media, events and other relevant channels.
• Provide strategic communications advice to Estates leadership, including on complex or sensitive issues.
• Oversee communications for Estates planning, public engagement, tenant relations and redevelopment activity.
• Strengthen the Culham Campus brand through media, speaking opportunities, events and promotional content.
• Manage external communications agencies, suppliers and Estates contractors.
• Build relationships with tenants, local authorities, strategic partners and other external stakeholders.
• Work with the central Communications team on major Estates projects, campus developments and media opportunities.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide insight to improve future marketing and communications activity.

Requirements

• A relevant degree or a substantial background in marketing or communications.
• A strong track record of developing and delivering communications strategies.
• Demonstrable success leading communications for complex, high-profile programmes or projects.
• Previous responsibility for acting as a communications business partner or strategic adviser to senior leaders.
• Proven capability in preparing and managing budgets.
• A background in briefing and managing external agencies and suppliers.
• UKAEA is an onsite organisation, and this role requires regular onsite presence (usually between 3-5 days in any given week) in line with business needs.
