Job Summary

Own and lead the Surrey Cricket Foundation’s storytelling, branding and multi‑channel communications by turning programme outcomes into engaging content, maintaining the brand, and driving digital reach across websites, social channels and campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate impact
  • - Develop compelling stories that showcase the impact of Surrey Cricket Foundation's programmes and the difference they make to individuals and communities.
  • - Turn programme outcomes, data and participant experiences into engaging and accessible content.
  • - Develop communications that demonstrate the value of our work to funders, partners, stakeholders and potential supporters.
  • - Build a strong library of photography, video, testimonials and case studies that can be used across the Foundation.
  • - Design and create the Foundation’s Annual Impact Report.
  • Create engaging video and digital content
  • - Lead the creation of engaging short films, reels and video content for social media, websites, events, presentations and fundraising.
  • - Plan, film and edit content.
  • - Capture content at schools, clubs, community sessions, training and events.

Requirements

  • - Experience working in marketing, communications, content creation or a similar role.
  • - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.
  • - Demonstrable experience creating short-form video and social media content, including filming and editing.
  • - Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and an understanding of what makes content engaging.
  • - Experience managing digital content, ideally including websites and email communications.
  • - A strong eye for visual presentation and attention to detail.
  • - Experience using analytics and insight to evaluate and improve communications.
  • - Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • - A willingness to get out and about across Surrey to capture content at programmes, training sessions, schools, clubs and events.
  • - An understanding of, or genuine interest in, cricket and the role sport can play in creating positive change.

  • - A full driving licence with access to own transport.
