Responsibilities

• Support the Campaigns and Communications Manager and colleagues across IPSEA to ensure that marketing and communications support the charity’s strategic objectives, strengthen IPSEA’s reputation and increase the reach and impact of our work.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and marketing activities, providing insights and regular reports to the CEO, senior management team and Board of Trustees.
• Stay informed about trends and best practices in the sector to continually improve IPSEA’s communication and marketing efforts.
• You’ll support the Campaigns and Communications Manager to develop and implement IPSEA’s marketing and communications strategy and media relations activities.
• You will be responsible for brand management and marketing, campaigns and events promoting IPSEA’s services training, events, policy work and fundraising initiatives.
• Working with our Communications Officer, you will lead on the management of our website, social media, and content creation and design.

Requirements

• substantial experience in planning and delivering successful marketing and communications strategies, identifying and utilising the correct communication methods and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• A strong copywriter with the ability to create engaging content for all audiences (internal and external), you’ll be able to translate complex issues into accessible messages, understanding different audiences and their communication needs.
• experienced in using digital tools and platforms for communications and supporter engagement.
• in-depth understanding of public affairs, media relations and/or fundraising campaigns in the charity or not-for-profit sector.
• strong project management skills, you’ll be able to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• collaborative approach and confidence in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
