Job Summary

Own and maintain the UEA website and portal, handle service desk requests, deliver content updates, support improvements, ensure accessibility and SEO, publish web content, and contribute to continuous improvement in an agile environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the UEA website and portal, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with organisational standards
Respond to and resolve incoming service desk requests, prioritising tasks effectively to meet agreed deadlines
Deliver routine content updates and structured changes in line with established processes and governance
Support the delivery of proactive website improvements and enhancement projects
Review, create, edit and publish web content across key areas of the site using the CMS
Ensure all content meets best practice for accessibility, usability and SEO
Support wider digital initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of web services
Work in an agile environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines, while identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement

Requirements

Experience of working in a digital marketing role
Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to present complex issues in a focused, succinct, professional and persuasive manner
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team

Preferred

Experience of marketing within the Higher Education sector would be advantageous.
