Job Summary

Own and scale the global events programme as the first dedicated events hire, shaping where we go, what we host, and how we measure success, with direct impact from day one in a lean marketing team.

  • Own and scale the global events programme and shape how we grow.
  • Lead end-to-end event execution, from smaller dinners and meetups to larger programs, and build scalable processes for future events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Owning our global events programme and shape it as we continue to scale.
  • You’ll decide where we go, what we host and how we measure success.
  • You’ll be our first dedicated events hire, reporting to Emma, our Head of Marketing, in a marketing team of just four, so your impact will be felt from day one.

Requirements

  • You have B2B events experience, and you can bring lots of moving parts together
  • You get energy from executing at an early stage (Series A to C). You don’t wait to be asked, you’d rather fix a problem than flag it, and you automate what you can so the next one is easier
  • You’ve designed events like dinners, workshops or meetups that guests found genuinely valuable. Organising a larger B2B conference is a nice to have, but what we really care about is that you can bring lots of moving parts together
  • You understand how important accurate reporting is in a CRM like HubSpot, so you know what’s working and what’s not
  • Strong discovery skills. You ask great questions, listen well and spot patterns, so you can learn our customers and buyers fast. You don’t need to know financial services or AI agents yet, but you’re curious about both
  • You write invitations and outreach that get senior operators to say yes, and you adjust your tone for buyers, partners, speakers and colleagues
  • You’re organised and ruthless about priorities, calm when things go wrong at an event, persistent, and you have a strong point of view on what makes an event memorable

Preferred

  • Organising a larger B2B conference is a nice to have, but what we really care about is that you can bring lots of moving parts together
  • US events experience is ideal but not a requirement

Benefits

  • Flexible, remote-first working. We work remotely by default, meet in London weekly and are building out a NYC office. We’d prefer you to be in NYC or London so you can be in person with the team more often.
  • We work in GMT and EST/EDT time zones. US events experience is ideal but not a requirement.
  • International travel for events that need someone on the ground, but not every event.
  • 25 days paid time off, plus 20 optional unpaid holiday days, on top of federal holidays (US) and bank holidays (UK)
  • Premium healthcare - UK: private medical cover including hospital treatment, cancer care, specialist consultations and physiotherapy, plus 24/7 virtual GP access and dental/optical cashback
  • Pension/401k: employer contributions in line with local requirements
  • Company and team offsites. Our most recent was in Lisbon.
