Senior Event Marketing Executive

Responsibilities

• Own your campaigns: Plan, coordinate and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive registrations, award nominations and ticket sales
• Create content that converts: Write compelling emails, landing pages, social content and promotional copy that makes people want to take action
• Get to know your audience: Understand what makes different professional audiences tick and create messaging that speaks directly to them
• Make the most of every channel: Bring together email, social media, digital content and promotional partnerships to maximise campaign reach
• Turn data into decisions: Track performance, spot opportunities and continually refine your campaigns to deliver better results
• Work with great people: Collaborate with our events, editorial, sales and design teams to bring campaigns to life

Requirements

• Proven 2-4 years' experience delivering B2B event marketing campaigns, ideally across conferences, exhibitions or awards
• Outstanding copywriting skills. This is a big one! You can turn complex topics into clear, engaging messages that get people interested
• Experience planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns across email, social and web
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to keep several campaigns moving without losing sight of the detail
• A good understanding of campaign performance and the confidence to use data to improve results
• A proactive, collaborative approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work
• Experience working with marketing technologies, campaign analytics and performance reporting would be advantageous. Marketing qualifications are preferred but not required if your experience is strong.
